Oklahoma Waterfowl Hunting with Sooner Outfitters

Sooner Outfitters FAQ's

What part of the state do you hunt?

We keep leases all across the state. The reason we do this is because it allows us to take advantage of the different zones giving us more days to hunt. It also allows us to utilize areas of the state the birds are in the largest concentrations.  Lodging will be found in proximity of our hunting locations.

How do I book a hunt?

Call Josh at 918-697-5655. We have a large number of repeat customers so be sure to call early to ensure you get the dates you want. We book a limited number of hunts which allows us to rest birds and consistently provide quality hunts.

When is the best time to come?

If targeting mallards December and January are our best months. We kill birds from opening day until the end of the season but average more mallards later in the year. We will be honest with you about the situation leading up to your hunt. For geese, our early season hunts can be fast and furious but our late season hunts are hard to beat.

How long do hunts last?

We hunt until noon but are often limited out in time to get breakfast.
