Guided Oklahoma Duck Hunts The 2007-08 duck season was spectacular AGAIN! This year we had an overabundance of water which spread the birds out a little more, but we kept them around all season. We look for this next year to be even better! This is a morning duck hunt in historically productive pieces of water. We usually hunt over 2 to 5 dozen duck decoys depending on the situation. On some field duck hunts we will set out 10 dozen or so. Your guide will meet you at your lodging location around 5:30 and then go to the hunting property. We will hunt until we limit out or until around 11:00. A majority of the ducks we see on these hunts are mallards. We also see widgeon, teal, pintail, and gadwall.
