A note on Duck Hunting with Sooner Outfitters:

It's hard to put your finger on exactly what makes a good duck hunt. But at Sooner Outfitters, our guides will work hard to bring all the essentials together - good friends, good dogs, a beautiful spot, and, of course, lots of ducks. We'll do everything we can to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Whether you duck hunt one hundred days a year or one day every few years, we realize that your time is valuable, and when you hunt with us, we'll hunt hard, we'll hunt smart and we'll enjoy every minute of it.  Some days our decoys work like magnets and the ducks turn to our every quack like we're the pied pipers of waterfowl - some days they don't. Some days it rains, the temperature reaches 80 degrees, or the ducks just won't cooperate. No matter what happens we will always be upfront and honest with you before and after the hunt.

Our knowledgeable guides have one thing in common, they are dedicated, some might say obsessed, with duck hunting. The guides know only two seasons, the duck season and the "getting ready for duck season" season.  They have learned, mostly through trial and error, the tricks of fooling ducks, not just to within shotgun range, but within very close shotgun range. Our guides scour the state, scouting by boat, by truck and by foot, to bring you to the best duck hunting spots we can find.

Our hunting locations are as varied as the Oklahoma terrain. On any given day we might be hugging a tree as greenheads come floating down in flooded timber, we might be crouching behind a clump of weeds as teal sweep across decoys set on a shallow, flooded field or we might be in our layout blinds as ducks and geese come to feed in a dry wheat or peanut field.  There is nothing like a guided Oklahoma Duck or Goose hunt with Sooner Outfitters!
